The Subaru Challenge is just 1 day away from now! And oh boy, aren't me excited :)
Travelled down to a ulu ulu clinic at Bedok area to get my medical certification today. Got it for just $12! (Bukit Panjang doctors, beat that!) That doctor is very supportive towards these challenger it seems... perhaps that explains the low price :)
Really keeping my fingers crossed to get the orange numbered ball on Saturday (FYI, a white ball would means I'm out). Sad to say, the odds are obviously against me or anyone else. Out of approx 600 males and 600 females, only 190 males and 190 females will get to proceed to the final round (palms down on the car).
Let's be optimistic shall we? ;)
I've just recalled that the doctor asked me a question which struck me very hard today.
"Even if you get the ball, what makes you think you've an edge over others to keep you going?"
I've given it through a lot of thoughts and I would say all the problems my family and I been going through should give me an extra boost should I managed to stay on till the dying moments of the competition. Reasons of which I could not divulge here. I could only say the cash reserves from selling the car (yeap... I'm not keeping it) would definitely lighten the 'burden' off my sisters and my mum. It's also a precious chance to rectify the grevious mistake of which I've made 2 years ago. A mistake which had costs me dearly, almost of everything I owned.
Now that God has granted me a chance, I should cherish it yah? :)
I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that I will get an orange ball :)
