After going on approximately 100+ days hiatus without updating this site...
I would like to let you guys know that my mother's son is still alive... and sad to say, I'm still working here too...
Much do I anticipate and look forward to moving on with my life, having a change in job and working environment, my wish was declined...
One of the reason I've stopped updating this site as I thought I'm quitting and parting with Bimbo for good you see... but well... sometimes things just doesn't goes as much as you planned in life. I found and accepted a new job. Signed the letter of appointment. Theoretically I should have formally resigned on this Tuesday but...
My resignation was rejected!
Not that it's that big a deal but just to let you know my Boss has never stopped anyone from leaving this company before.
After a heart to heart talk with my boss in his kind office for a combined, hour or so on Tuesday, he even offered to shoulder the hefty fine imposed on me for breaking the letter of appointment and to the agency. He also told me he will give me an increment too.
So after weighing all the PROS (Pay increment, Boss pay my penalties) and CONS (CB lang trio still around), and much against my wishes,
I've decided to stay.
According to all the online suggestions and advice, I know I should never accept a counteroffer from my former employer at all costs... But that's something I could not explain further... I could only divulge that I'm indebted to him...
Bimbo also happy about my decision to stay back too.
Heh.
Right now my priority is to get my driving license.
For one of my boss unfulfilled promises is that he will get me a G plate vehicle (is it a van?) when I got my license.
Life seems to be good :)
...
At least for now.
